The institute aims to co-organise international conferences, round table debates, seminars and summer schools in areas of mutual interest. It has a panel of experts engaged in producing scientific publications and reports on topical issues.

Go-Governance is a non-party project open to those who share European values and a commitment to democratic governance in the contemporary world.

Article 2, Consolidated Version of the Treaty on the European Union:
"The Union is founded on the values of respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law and respect for human rights, including the rights of persons belonging to minorities. These values are common to the Member States in a society in which pluralism, non-discrimination, tolerance, justice, solidarity and equality between women and men prevail".
