sully 2013Go-Governance is headed by Dr Melanie Sully, editor, writer and consultant, who was for many years professor of political science at the Diplomatic Academy, Vienna.  Formerly Voice of America radio correspondent, Dr Sully acts as a consultant eg on good governance projects for the Cultural Department of the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs, Austria. Further she has worked as a consultant for the OSCE (ODIHR Warsaw) on projects such as parliamentary standards,  comparative legislatures, as well as women’s political participation. In this capacity she has presented expert papers in parliament, Belgrade, Serbia on legislative standards, public consultations and parliamentary ethics, November 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and in parliament, Tirana, Albania, July 2012 and in Armenia 2015 in cooperation with the OSCE, civil society and the Ministry of Justice there; presentations on parliaments and ethics and legislative standards for parliamentarians in Tbilisi, Georgia July 2013 and for the Council of Europe, GRECO 2014. Guest Professorial Lecture, Politics, Birkbeck, University of London, 2014-2015, the Joint Vienna Institute and the University of Applied Sciences, Vienna. Expert evidence given to the House of Commons Committee on Standards, London, 2014. Dr Sully was a speaker in an induction training course for newly-elected MPs in Ukraine run by the Agency for Legislative Initiatives, Kyiv, November 2014. In 2014 she acted as a consultant for GRECO, Council of Europe on an anti-corruption project; 2015 - Academic centre expert for the Assembly of the European Regions. Presenter on political leadership at Democracy Conference School of Government Melbourne University 2015. Dr Sully is an expert for Oxford Analytica UK (2016). Expert European Youth Parliament Austria, Development Committee (2016).
Current research includes British domestic politics, Brexit and the EU, Austrian politics.

• Dr Sully has edited and contributed to several publications sponsored by among others, the Diplomatic Academy Vienna, the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs, Austria, the City of Vienna, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and EU-BAM. Recent articles on politics for Austrian quality papers "Der Standard", "Die Presse", "Furche." In addition Dr Sully is a regular commentator on topical affairs and was interviewed eg in major papers, television and radio in Austria on the referendum in Scotland 2014 and the UK 2015 election.

Dr. Josef Mantl Dr. Josef Mantl – deputy head of Institute for Go-Governance - is an Austrian Communication Entrepreneur. As CEO of the Full Service Communications Agency JMC he focuses on Campaigns, Events and Digital Media. He is Spokesman of the Sustainable Future Campaign. Dr Mantl is author and editor of numerous publications on communications, mobile governance and digital media. Since 2012 member of Team Europe of the European Commission and Al Gore Climate Leader.

Alexandra Dancasiu studied Political Science at the University of Vienna, Georgetown University and American University in Kosovo. She is currently completing her second major at the University of Vienna Faculty of Law. Additionally she has working experience at various law firms in Vienna, Austria, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bucharest, Romania, and the GIZ - Consumer Protection and Product Safety Program in Beijing, China. Furthermore she dedicated her free time to managing the Sustainable Future Campaign including the publication „Communicating Sustainability – Perspectives in Politics, Economy and Society“ in Vienna, as well as to working and blogging for TEDxVienna.
